MARASY Brut is a new product in the life of the estate. The soil of the vineyard, the loess, the unique climate, the Furmint grapes and the classic method of sparkling wine making in the embrace of a small amphitheatre are fantastic opportunities to create a fine, elegant sparkling wine with mineral flavours.
The Furmint grape variety is harvested using traditional viticulture methods, with its unique aroma and delicate, tasty, luscious acidity. The bunches are hand-harvested, carefully selected, and only healthy, intact bunches are picked. Then, with quality pressing and controlled fermentation, we produce our sparkling base wine, which is matured on fine lees. Only the 2019 vintage Furmint is sparkling. The second fermentation took place in glass bottles, where the carbon dioxide produced was transformed into sparkling wine in a fine bubble distribution. The resulting brut sparkling wine was aged for 15 months, developing its final aromatic character. Degassing took place in April 2021, when we used a frozen ice cube in the neck of the bottle to remove the cloudy particles that had formed during fermentation and, after the Brut dosage design, the bottle was filled to its final sparkling closure.
Brut MARIASY Sparkling wine is a special aperitif due to its elegant, clean, delicate taste and minerality, excellent with fish dishes, charcuterie, trout, but due to the nature of Brut, it is suitable for almost every occasion and course.
